A Message from the Dean

Welcome to the School of Pharmacy at the Lebanese International University.
Pharmacy is a dynamic and evolving profession, continuously shaped by advances in science, technology, and patient-centered healthcare. At LIU, we are committed to preparing future pharmacists who are not only knowledgeable and skilled, but also ethical leaders, critical thinkers, and socially accountable professionals capable of responding to the changing needs of healthcare systems locally, regionally, and globally.
Our School is guided by a clear vision and mission that emphasize excellence in education, practice, research, and community engagement. Through a competency-based and student-centered curriculum, we provide a strong foundation in the biomedical, pharmaceutical, clinical, social, and administrative sciences, complemented by robust experiential education. This integrated approach enables our graduates to optimize patient care, contribute effectively within interprofessional teams, and pursue lifelong learning and leadership roles in the profession.
The strength of the School lies in its dedicated faculty and staff, who bring academic expertise, professional experience, and a strong commitment to teaching, mentorship, and innovation. Our modern learning environments, including advanced laboratories, simulation facilities, and structured clinical assessment platforms, support active learning and professional skills development. Equally important is our diverse student body, whose motivation, resilience, and engagement enrich the academic environment and reflect our commitment to accessibility, diversity, and inclusion.
The School of Pharmacy maintains strong national and international collaborations, engages actively with professional and regulatory bodies, and contributes to impactful research and community health initiatives. These partnerships reinforce our culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and data-driven decision-making, while ensuring alignment with international standards and best practices in pharmacy education.
As Dean, I am proud of what our students, faculty, alumni, and partners continue to achieve together. I invite you to explore our programs, initiatives, and achievements, and to join us in advancing the pharmacy profession through knowledge, service, leadership, and innovation.
